3 WEEKS ON “PAUSE”

(Day 168 to 188)

sunny

Nigeria and Mauritius

Martin and I separated in Bangkok for our respective flights out. The reason for this unplanned new development is that Martin had a contract offered to him by the company he worked with in London, which entailed continuing on a project he’d participated in previously, in Lagos. It was a tough separation after being together 24/7 these past few months and for Martin going back to work after 6 months of visiting the planet instead of sitting behind a desk.. I was lucky to be able to go home during that time and have a great catch up with my family and friends while Martin earned our daily bread :)

The 3 weeks flew by, and is the reason for the long blog absence. We are however on a roll now and hoping to have caught up to present days as much as the internet allows now in Bali.

We have selected just a few photos of Nigeria and Mauritius to show the contrast :)
