BRAZIL - Expenses & Accomodation

For those who plan to visit Brazil one day, this could be useful, similar blogs have helped us work out our budget and accommodation during the planning stages & trip.

0 °C

We spent ONLY 8 days in Brasil (most of it in Rio) staying in hostels in private rooms with shared bathrooms, all had free WiFi. We made our own lunch and dinners every night except in Sao Paulo.

The “Transport” part below includes a flight from Iguazu to Rio, one private taxis and local city buses as well as one inter city bus.

The “Extras” part is what hurt us most but as explained in blog the page before, we were only going to be in Rio once (for a limited time too) and we ticked every box of what we wanted to do. This therefore includes:
1) Carnaval finalist parade,
2) full day city tour,
3) Football tickets for final,
4) Favela tour.
5) And also a helicopter ride for 1 in Iguazu.

Most activities in Rio were run by “Be a local” which were excellent (but always late for pick ups :))

All amounts are in US dollars
